The Role: As part of the MDT providing specialist interventions to young people with severe and complex mental health issues, you will be part of the assessment team providing crisis intervention and support to those presenting in crisis situations.
You will need: Extensive experience and demonstrated specialist level knowledge of contemporary mental health nursing and an understanding of mental health issues in relation to children, adolescents, and their families, in both inpatient and community settings.Proven ability to provide a range of assessments and therapeutic interventions relevant for children, adolescents, and families accessing services.Demonstrated experience and knowledge of other services and agencies in the context of providing specialist mental health assessment, advice, and training.Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills including negotiation, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the Mental Health Services Strategic Plan.Details of appointment: Permanent, full-time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
Salary: $106,570 to $112,440 per annum, with an 11.5% superannuation contribution on top.
