Only candidates with permanent working rights in Australia will be considered.Qualifications & Experience Essential: Completed relevant accounting tertiary qualifications.Preferably a member of an accounting body: CA, CPA or IPAMinimum 2 years' experience in Tax/Business Services Accounting.Demonstrated experience in preparing income tax returns from initial preparation to lodgement.Experience using accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, BGL and FYI Docs is highly preferable.Proven ability to manage face-to-face client interactions with professionalism and confidence.Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and discretion.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong command of the English language.A proactive, independent thinker with strong organizational and time-management abilities.Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision, with a committed strong work ethic. Key Responsibilities Preparation and lodgement of income tax returns for individuals, and small business entities, including preparing financial reports for companies, Trusts and SMSF.Prepare journals, review clients bookkeeping and complete workpapers.Conducting client appointments in person, over the phone, and via email.Providing accounting and tax advice to clients.Assisting senior accountants with the preparation of more complex tax returns and preparation of financial statements.Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standardsLiaising with the ATO to handle a range of tax related issues.If you have a solid foundation in tax accounting, excellent client service skills, and are ready to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and collaborative environment, we want to hear from you!
