Specific Criteria
* Highly effective, skilled classroom practitioner committed to the ethos of the Catholic School
* Qualifications and/or experience in Special Education
* Ability to lead collaboratively the Diverse Learning Team within an inclusive education model of service delivery
* Ability to liaise with parents, school and staff and outside agencies to support individual students with specific learning needs
* Be able to differentiate the curriculum including assessment tasks to meet the diverse learning needs of students
* The ability to develop, implement, monitor and evaluate high quality individualised educational programs, inclusive of adjustments
* Understanding of NESA requirements for Disability Provisions and Life Skills Outcomes
* Capacity to contribute to the school’s Continuous Improvement Cycle and is committed to student achievement
* Proven ability to apply sound pedagogical practices to create a motivating and engaging learning environment that caters to the needs of all learners
* Skilled in analysing and reflecting on student learning data to ensure learning growth for all students;
* Highly effective in managing and facilitating safe and supportive learning environments with an understanding of positive student welfare practices
* Willingness to contribute to the broader extracurricular aspects of school life as an active member of the school community
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic professional learning community.
* Proficient in the use of technology to enhance student learning
Applicants who are not currently working in a Broken Bay systemic school must have a 4 year training qualification or be enrolled to undertake further study that will provide them with a four year trained qualification to be eligible to apply for any teaching position in the Diocese.

Position on COVID-19 vaccinations
Given the current management of risks associated with COVID-19 in the community, and the gradual wind-back of some settings, CSBB has decided to no longer require all staff to be fully vaccinated, effective 19 September 2022. Staff who are not vaccinated will be required to wear masks when working with children at greater risk of serious illness owing to a medical condition and/or physical disability.
