About the Job The Technology Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of medium to large-scale technology initiatives within Application Services, supporting core business systems across Supply Chain, Finance, Retail, Merchandise, and Planning. This role manages projects end-to-end, from scoping and planning to execution and delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets. By establishing effective practices and providing strong leadership, the Technology Delivery Manager plays a vital role in achieving the organisation's strategic objectives. The Role you could Play The main responsibilities include but are not limited to: Drive the delivery of technology projects, ensuring alignment with business goals. Planning and Quarterly Business Planning processes for Application Services domain. Create and maintain delivery plans, roadmaps, and governance reports. Act as the central point of contact for internal stakeholders and external vendors. Engage cross-functional teams (Digital, Technology, Operations, Finance) to align on priorities, risks, and dependencies. Apply a "best fit" delivery methodology tailored to the project's scope, objectives, and complexity. Facilitate relevant delivery processes and ceremonies, ensuring alignment with business needs and stakeholder expectations. Oversee project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial targets and business objectives. Collaborate with stakeholders to forecast, monitor, and report on budget performance, ensuring efficient resource allocation. Lead and mentor Project Mangers, Business Analysts and QA Engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Oversee capacity planning and resource allocation to ensure project delivery needs are met, including the ability to scale up with external resources as required. This includes managing external resources that fall under the role's reporting line responsibilities. Oversee testing strategies in collaboration with QA leads, ensuring robust practices for UAT, production verification, and defect management Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and resourcing to ensure delivery quality and alignment with timelines. Proactively manage risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAID). Provide governance submissions, including reports to Steering Committees and Investment Committees. What you will Bring 5 years of experience in Retail and Supply Chain in either Operations or Technology domains 5 years of experience in project or delivery management. Professional certifications in agile delivery (e.g., Scrum Master, SAFe) or project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are highly desirable. Experience leading small to medium-sized teams with a focus on mentoring and development. Familiarity with enterprise applications such as Microsoft Navision, Blue Yonder and others. Proficiency in testing and release management practices, including UAT and production deployment.
