About the Role Develop, recommend and implement quality assurance programmes to ensure statutory and contractual compliance with quality requirements across the NSW/ACT Building projects. This position would suit a current Foreman/Supervisor looking to move into the quality space driving quality compliance across all NSW/ACT projects or someone who has worked in a similar role on large scale projects. Responsibilities of the role include: Ensure that the project's conforms with ISO and AS/NZS regulatory / legal requirements Identify, manage and monitor quality objectives, requirements, risks and other issues that may adversely impact the surety of successful project delivery Provide guidance and support to the project leadership team to develop and maintain a quality culture that drives business improvement Ensure that the workplace maintains robust risk management processes, capability, focus and discipline associated with quality Provide technical quality expertise Ensure that the workplace understands and meets its regulatory and legal obligations as they relate to quality Provide leadership and mentoring to quality staff Understand compliance and reporting procedures and processes and demonstrate leadership in the communication of requirements What we are looking for: Advanced Diploma or Lead Auditor Qualification in Engineering, Science, Building, Construction, Quality Management or Project Management Experience in a quality management role Quality assurance experience gained within the construction, transport or related industries Experience in developing and managing project QA management systems What's in it for you when you join John Holland?
