About the Kitchen Hand Opportunity: We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a casual Kitchen Hand / Cleaner.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and common areas to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for our staff and customers.
Key Responsibilities: Thoroughly clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, and appliances.
Maintain spotless floors by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming in both kitchen and common areas.
Manage waste disposal by regularly emptying trash bins and ensuring proper disposal of waste.
Consistently clean and disinfect countertops, tables, and other surfaces to maintain a hygienic environment.
Monitor and restock cleaning supplies to ensure they're always available.
Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables or portioning ingredients.
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and regulations.
Work closely with kitchen staff to uphold cleanliness standards and enhance efficiency.
Take on additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
About the Ideal Candidate: Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required.
Capable of handling a physically demanding role, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 15 kg.
Demonstrates a strong work ethic and a keen attention to detail.
Excels in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in a fast-paced environment.
Possesses good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Manages pressure effectively, staying calm and focused under challenging conditions.
