About the Opportunity
Council is seeking experienced Mechanics who will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining Council equipment such as loaders, dozers, graders, road rollers, backhoes and trucks along with providing workshop services across the region.
These positions are based in Dalby.
Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will:
* Diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment;
* Dismantling, repairing, rebuilding, assembling and installing parts to vehicles, construction and industrial machinery in the field and in the Workshop;
* Requisitioning needed spare parts; and
* Interpreting specifications and job orders for assigned duties.
About yourself
The successful applicant will have:
* OH&S Construction Safety Induction White Card;
* Trade qualification as Diesel Fitter; and
* Heavy Equipment Maintenance Workshop.
