About the role:
In this role you will be required to:
1. Unload bulk tankers to tank transfers
2. Load vacuum blending tanks
3. Load ISO tanks and wash out
4. Operate drum shredders and bulk solids systems
5. Dehead plastic IBC units
6. Complete general housekeeping and forklift duties
The hours of work for this position are on a rotating roster, Monday to Friday day - 6am-2pm and then a 10:00am to 6:00pm.
Overtime shifts on Saturday may also be available.
About you:
7. Previous experience working in an operations role, ideally in the waste treatment or hazardous chemical industry
8. Forklift licence (essential)
9. Strong safety focus
10. Good mechanical aptitude
11. A self-starter, who can work autonomously
12. Great attention to detail and process troubleshooting/diagnostic abilities
13. Basic computer skills ideally with an understanding of Word and Excel
