About the role :
We are passionate about our students and staff learning about Indigenous Australian histories, ways of being and knowing, and culturally safe approaches within psychology. We hope to work together with you to integrate this into the fabric of the way psychology is taught at ACU from an undergraduate level through to postgraduate study. This has prompted us to seek you as someone who could contribute to integrating and embedding Aboriginal and / or Torres Strait Islander histories, cultural ways of doing and being, and sharing knowledge into ACU's psychology programs.
As Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Psychology, you'll be asked to offer significant contributions to the teaching and learning design, delivery and administrative activities. This will include :
* Share knowledge and wisdom into the psychology undergraduate and postgraduate programs for both students and staff.
* Develop and deliver both on-campus and online content within core units in line with national curricula.
* Contribute to excellence in teaching and learning at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
What we offer :

* Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
* Total remuneration valued to $173,601 - $188,476 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $146,904 - $159,618 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level C), OR $137,177 - $161,961 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $117,246 - $138,429 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level B), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. A 2.8% increase will be effective from the beginning of the last full pay period before 30 June 2025.
* 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
