Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology (DHM) is an established and well-respected pathology practice offering comprehensive, high-quality pathology services across New South Wales and northwest Victoria.Our culture of Medical Leadership drives excellence in patient care and service provision for our referring doctors.Position description We seek an enthusiastic Liaison Manager (General and Specialist Practice) to join our team to look after the Newcastle Hunter territory.Reporting directly to the Regional Manager of the area, you will be a primary client services representative and play a key role in the business.You will establish and maintain effective professional relationships with referring medical specialists, identifying and actively seeking new business opportunities and liaising with the laboratory in order to enhance client satisfaction and increase market share.The successful applicant will be expected to: Liaise effectively with referring doctors, practice staff, and medical organisations, as well as laboratory personnel, pathologists and department managers.Assist with the resolution of customer complaints.Disseminate information about DHM services including technical information relating to new and existing pathology tests.Plan and implement an effective call schedule, including cold calling for appointments.Together with the Regional Manager, the Chief Business Development Officer and the Chief Branch Operations Officer, prepare and implement an effective business development strategy.Help organise & attend doctor functions, promotional trade displays, seminars and pathologists visits as required.Provide liaison services in other areas as required.Maintain detailed records of all contacts and meetings and complete activity related KPI reports in a timely manner.Ideal candidate Be well presented and have a professional manner.Prior experience in medical sales and/or delivering excellent customer service in a medical environment.Have strong interpersonal skills and be a confident and effective communicator.Possess excellent time management, organisational and problem solving skills.Be able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.Have a good overall working knowledge of Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology, the services we provide as well as the needs and expectations of our specialist clients.Be energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated and goal driven.Applications Applications, including your resume, should be emailed to the Human Resources Department via ****** quoting reference R24067 in the subject line of your email by 29th October 2024.For further information please contact Kathy Davis, Chief Branch Operations Officer on 9855 5303.Applicants must have the appropriate working rights to work in Australia.Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology is an equal opportunity employer.#J-18808-Ljbffr
