Job Description
* Continually support internal health and safety policies.
* Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with regulations.
* Train staff on safety procedures and protocols.
* Manage emergency procedures and coordinate drills.
* Maintain records of incidents and produce statistical reports.
* Recommend improvements in the health and safety management system.
* Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure the organisation is up to date with new legislation.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Health & Safety Manager will be able to demonstrate:
* Thorough knowledge of health and safety laws and regulations.
* Excellent communication and training skills.
* The ability to develop and implement health and safety policies.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of safety management information systems.
