About Your Role:
You will be part of a dynamic team fostering partnerships with local primary schools to deliver initiatives promoting healthy eating and physical activity. As a School Years Project Officer for Western Sydney, you will make a difference in the lives of children through your work.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
* Developing a strong understanding of school settings and challenges impacting healthy eating and physical activity.
* Building relationships with diverse groups to promote healthy lifestyles.
* Fostering effective strategies for promoting healthy eating and active living.
What We Are Looking For In A Candidate:
* A degree in a health-related field.
* Experience working in a health promotion setting.
* Project planning, implementation, evaluation, and dissemination skills.
* Effective organisational skills, problem-solving skills, and computer proficiency.
* High-level written and verbal communication skills.
* Understanding of social determinants of health and their impact on communities.
