Your new company Our client is an established and design-led Architectural practice that specialises in a range of high-end residential projects. With a strong projection of work for the next number of years, this studio is now looking for an experienced Project Architect to join the team. This position is a full-time permanent role, and will be diverse, working across all project stages. This position will suit someone who is designed and focused, has extensive high-end residential experience, knows how to detail and has strong communication skills. Your new role You will be an experienced Senior Project Architect with circa 7-8 years of practical experience; it's important that you have a good understanding of the local construction market and are technically sound. This practice is looking for someone to fundamentally work from initial concept design, town planning stage, through design development, documentation onto completion. Ideally, you will have CA experience, working on site and dealing with consultants etc. This role will suit someone who is capable in running their own projects from start to finish, independently and, of course, working in a team environment with extremely capable designers and architects. What you'll need to succeed The ideal candidate will be proficient in Revit and have strong experience working on managing projects, particularly in the high-end residential space ranging from $5million and upwards. You will have strong design/creative skills, and be confident in working and communicating with high-end clients throughout the project life-cycle. Oversee design development, production of working drawings, and construction documents on given projects. Establish and maintain budgets, schedules, and monitor adherence of terms of contract expectations. Establish clear communications and professional relationships with clients, consultants, PM & contractors. Manage the project delivery process and work closely with clients & directors. Creating and managing project progress, time schedules and resourcing. Liaise with project managers & builders for projects in construction. Prepare and administer the Procurement contracts (where required). Monitor project progress according to contract scope and deliverables. Coordinate and lead teams through design, development and contract phases of construction projects.
