Key Responsibilities: Conduct field research and data collection on marine ecosystems. Identify and record marine flora and fauna. Analyze and report on marine biodiversity and ecosystem health. Collaborate with other environmental specialists and stakeholders. Contribute to conservation and sustainability projects. Ideal Candidate: Over 10 years of experience in marine biology or a related field. Familiarity with Tasmania's unique marine ecosystems and wildlife. Comfortable with fieldwork, including boat trips for marine observation. Strong analytical and reporting skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marine Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field. Experience working in Tasmania's marine environments would be a strong advantage.
