A unique opportunity exists for an experienced Supply Manager looking for the next step in their career. Managing a team of four, this role is positioned as a key part of the operational team in a growing and dynamic organisation serving the community of Newcastle.
The role will focus on purchasing, compliance with nationally agreed pricing contracts, ensuring on time performance is delivered to various locations throughout the hospital and improving existing internal processes whilst developing a strong multi skilled committed team.

We are a 189 bed, acute, private hospital facility co-located on the John Hunter Campus at Rankin Park. Servicing the broader Newcastle & Mid north coast community we excel at complex surgeries and nursing care across a range of specialties including ICU, Cardiac Care, Rehabilitation, Maternity & Oncology.
Essential Criteria
* Experienced in all areas of inventory management preferably with a health clinical background
* People Management with People Development experience
* Previous management of bar coding & scanning technology
* Sound goods receivable and reconciliation practices
* Demonstrated ability to reduce cost through efficient inventory management
* A keen customer service ethos in dealing with internal customers with exceptional communication skills
* Proficient IT skills to facilitate analysis
* Experience with large ERP's; TECH 1 desirable.
* MS Office Suite with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* Ability to work cohesively in a small high functioning team environment
