Our client, a respected educational institution in Brisbane, is seeking a skilled Electrical Trainer (alternatively known as Trade Trainer or Energy Instructor) to drive the delivery of courses in the exciting renewable energy industry. This is a full-time role based in Brisbane though the client is also open to flexible working arrangements (part-time/casual). Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Deliver practical and theoretical training in renewable energy
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
* Maintain course compliance in line with national standards
* Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance course offerings
* Assist in developing innovative course content for the renewable sector
* Support student enrolment, administration, and course delivery
Skills and Experience:
* Current electrical and Queensland driving licenses are essential
* Electrician experience particularly in the renewable energy sector
* Experience in training, with a focus on RTO compliance
* Strong communication skills across various platforms
* Ability to manage time, stakeholders, and maintain high training standards
* Adaptability and leadership, particularly in fast-paced environments
Qualification Requirements:
* UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or equivalent
* TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or TAE40110 plus relevant upgrades)
* A current Electrician’s License
* A valid Queensland Driving License
* Desirable: First Aid certification and other industry accreditations
