Hawksworth is partnering with a leading financial institution that services over 500 Local Government organisations across Australia, to onboard a Motor Claims Consultant for a 12 month contract.
The purpose of this role is to provide superior and professional claims service to Customers and Stakeholders, whilst utilising the services of external providers (Repairers, Assessors, and Legal representatives). Servicing General claims for motor.
In this role you will be responsible for: Manage and administer new claims, including liaising with Customers, Repairers/Suppliers and Other Parties Undertake technical claims administration including gathering information, claims determination, preparing correspondence, calculating settlements and processing payments. Assist, as required, Divisional Manger with the preparation, monitoring, and analysis of claims data. Identify and pursue all opportunities of recovery. Monitor outstanding claims via a diary system to ensure prompt settlement, in line with internal procedures, policies and GICOP requirements, which meet Quality Assurance and service standards. Build and maintain good rapport with internal and external customers. Provide claims support and information and operate in a team environment Experience: Preferable experience in end-to-end Motor claims Knowledge of the recoveries process Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills Decision making skills Ability to work well within a team Ability to work unsupervised An understanding of Covers and policy wordings Capacity to recognise trends and anomalies of claims data
