About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shopfitting Construction Manager to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Planning & Management: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and budgets, procure materials and subcontractors, manage project logistics, and monitor project progress.
* Site Supervision: Oversee all on-site construction activities, conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks, manage and motivate site teams, and resolve site-related issues promptly and effectively.
* Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, keep them informed of project progress, and address any concerns.
* Contract Administration: Manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensure all contractual obligations are met, handle change orders and variations effectively, and maintain accurate safety records.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Shopfitting Construction Manager or in a similar role.
* Strong understanding of shopfitting construction methods and materials (trade qualification highly desired).
* Excellent project management and organizational skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and to deadlines.
* Experience with building codes and regulations.
* A strong commitment to safety.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position based in VIC, Australia.
