Nurse Level 5 -Remuneration Package Range $154,856 - $162,900 (including salary $132,267 - $139,215) + allowances Primary and Public Health Care – Remote Services Alice Springs Fixed vacancy for 6 months As the Nurse Clinical Coordinator, you will provide expert diabetes clinical/educational services to remote clinics and clients with diverse and complex needs.
You will develop quality systems that support remote areas in the management of Diabetes and Vascular disease while providing sound professional advice critical in dealing with significant issues related to assessment, planning, review, evaluation, and coordination of client care in defined practice area.
Additionally, you will support excellence in nursing and midwifery care by mentoring and modelling advanced clinical skills and knowledge while assisting less experienced staff in their professional development.
The successful applicant will: Demonstrate proven experience in diabetes education and management across diverse settings.
Have the ability to support, mentor, and educate staff while working within a multidisciplinary team.
Have experience driving a manual vehicle and be eligible to obtain a NT Drivers Licence Be willing to travel to remote communities by 4WD or light aircraft on a regular basis and stay for up to a week as required.
