This pivotal role ensures that procurement strategies align with organisational goals, delivering value for money while effectively managing risks across state-wide services. You will play a key role in high-value and high-risk contracts, collaborating with suppliers, clinical teams, and other SA Health departments to implement procurement solutions that enhance SA Dental’s operations and patient outcomes. As the Dental Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and implementing procurement policies and procedures in line with government requirements. You will ensure contract compliance, risk management, and cost efficiencies, while also leading committees and evaluation panels. A proactive approach to problem-solving and driving procurement innovation. Extensive Procurement & Contract Management Experience – Proven experience managing procurement processes, conducting tenders, negotiating with suppliers, and implementing contract management strategies that optimise value for money and stakeholder satisfaction. Excellent Communication & Stakeholder Engagement – Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide sound procurement advice, prepare reports and briefings, and foster trust and cooperation in a politically sensitive environment.
