About the role We are looking for an experienced Business Development Executive to fit in with our busy team. The successful applicant will manage MICE bookings for the Hotel from sourcing new business, converting leads, being the dedicated liaison between customer and the Hotel in the sales stage. You will maximise short and long term performance in line with the annual business and strategic sales and marketing revenue plan. You must display a positive attitude and “can do” mindset with excellent attention to detail and commitment to high service standards. You will take full ownership of your events from handling the initial proactive activities and sales enquiries to preparing proposals, negotiation and contracts. You will also be required to keep all systems and reporting records up to date, conduct hotel site inspections and confidently liaise with all hotel departments amongst other day to day duties.
