About the role We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our team at Shaya Engineering & Constructions Pty Ltd, based in Yennora, NSW. In this full-time role, you will play an integral part in supporting our accounts team, ensuring smooth financial operations and accurate record-keeping.
What you'll be doing Managing accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and reconciliation.Assisting with payroll processing and maintaining accurate employee records.Preparing and maintaining financial reports, spreadsheets, and budgets.Following up on outstanding payments and responding to account inquiries.Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.Assisting with end-of-month and end-of-year financial processes.Providing general administrative support to the accounts and finance team.What we're looking for Proven experience in an accounts or finance support role.Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero, or similar).Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.A positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and work well.What we offer At Shaya Engineering & Constructions Pty Ltd, we value our team members and offer:
