We are seeking an experienced Senior Development Manager to join our Government Clients Southern NSW team. This is a hybrid role based in Parramatta, with flexible work-from-home arrangements. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering major residential redevelopment projects in South West Sydney. Key Responsibilities Deliver social housing projects through various delivery mechanisms, partnering with private, not-for-profit, and community housing sectors. Establish and manage positive working relationships with project stakeholders, including business partners, contractors, external consultants, and Government Agencies. Develop and manage a range of projects through the project lifecycle, ensuring effective planning, stakeholder management, and financial and risk management processes. Plan, manage, monitor, and coordinate governance arrangements to ensure projects meet quality assurance practices. Identify, analyse, and advise on legal, regulatory, and operational risks, and develop risk mitigation plans and strategies. Drive a culture of innovation and collaboration by implementing industry best practices for continuous improvement. Prepare various strategic and operational documentation, including briefing papers, reports, and submissions. Provide advice and support to the Executive Leadership Team on project development, implementation, management, and reporting. Candidate Requirements Formal qualifications in engineering, surveying, architecture, project management, or planning. 10-15 years of experience in residential development or construction. Broad planning knowledge of DCP and LEP. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills. Enthusiastic and proactive approach.
