You will be responsible for delivering high-quality service, patient care, handling equipment, and transportation services while contributing to the overall performance of the operating suite.You will make an impact by:Assisting clinicians and team members with patient preparationPreparing and maintaining operating suite equipmentCollaborating with the surgical team to ensure the theatre runs efficiently and effectively.Mentoring novice theatre technicians to help support and grow their career.To be successful in this role:Completed a Certificate IV Health Services Assistance (Operating Theatre Support)Victorian Working with Children CheckExcellent customer-focused skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skillsMinimum 24 months clinical experience as a Theatre TechnicianWillingness and ability to collaborate effectively within a teamProfessional work ethic who is self-motivated and self-directedLocated in Box Hill, Epworth Eastern is a state-of-the-art facility with 15 theatres (including a hybrid theatre) and an expansion of ICU to 12 beds. Epworth Eastern maintains a broad clinical focus from cardiac, vascular, orthopaedic and general surgery to oncology, urology and endoscopy services.
