We are looking for a qualified Electrician to join our team, ideally with some experience in the installation of New Homes, Commercial Electrical, Solar Panels, Security installations and maintenance, Automation, Civil Works and/or Comms.With further expansion for the remainder of 2023 and beyond in the pipeline, we are a leading installer of Electrical for New Homes, Commercial Buildings, Communications, security, automation and residential solar energy and battery systems. We specialise in connecting people with affordable and environmentally sustainable energy, and we have an opportunity for an experienced Electrician to work in-field across a number of projects. We are looking for someone who enjoys the camaraderie of being part of a team, is motivated to do quality work and get the work completed.The Type of WorkThe work is a mix of all of the above plus varied electrical maintenance work in our luxury resorts. You will also be doing solar installation in a variety of other locations. The work is generally all low and easy access where you will work in small teams.Responsibilities:Installing, commissioning and wiring of New HomesInstalling commissioning and wiring of large commercial buildingsRunning a team of Electricians and Apprentices onsitePerform Solar and C&I Battery installations.Running and fitting off communications wiringInstalling and commissioning serversSecurity systems installation and fit off.Installation and fit off for access control systems.Collaborate with builders and owners to provide the best working solution that meets Australian Standards.Adhere to all safety regulations and best practices to ensure a secure work environment.General maintenance of solar systemsFault finding solar systems.Set up monitoring of solar systems.Switchboard UpgradesExcellent Customer ServiceExcellent problem-solving skillsHigh quality of workmanshipRequirements:Current Electrical Licence QLDCEC Solar Installation Accreditation advantageous but not essential.Current Driver's LicenseCurrent OHS induction card (White card)Working at heights certificate advantageousExcellent communication, customer service skills and work ethic are essential.Company vehicle and tools of the tradeWho are we?Prospecta, a subsidiary of GemLife, stands as a pioneer in Australia's thriving luxury over 50s residential resorts development sector.
