Facilitate proactive and preventative practices and initiatives for the holistic development, mental health and wellbeing of studentsManage counselling and consulting services for studentsProvide psycho-educational and other assessmentsEnsure BCE protocols and quality processes are implementedMaintain standards of practiceApply guidance counselling skills through direct and indirect processes and through systemic, whole-school, and individual interventionsParticipate in regular individual and group supervision and mentoring activities for clinical and technical supervision.About youTo be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
Successful experience as a Guidance Counsellor in an educational setting with a focus on prevention, intervention and student learningExperience in identifying and developing activities to address academic and life career development of studentsExperience in the administration, interpretation and report writing for psycho-educational assessmentsExperience in providing support and leadership in response to student protection issues, critical incidents and risk managementCollaboration skills and the ability to work in a team environmentFor this position you are not required to be Catholic.Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:
