About The Role
This full-time position plays a pivotal role in overseeing production activities and employees at EPSR's facility in Bibra Lake, Western Australia - Nexus Recycling. The primary objective of this role is to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Battery Breaking, Plastics Recovery, & Wastewater Treatment processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the battery breaker, plastics recovery, and wastewater treatment plants.
* Evaluate and monitor the efficiency and optimize the operations of each of the recycling units.
* Work closely with various support heads for process improvements as well as in the identification, monitoring, and resolution of process deviations.
* Ensure products meet or exceed the required standard within planned costings.
* Ensure the plant complies with legal, environmental, and safety regulations and policies.
Requirements:
* Chemical Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering graduate.
* Five to eight years of supervisory experience in the manufacturing industry, specifically used lead acid battery recycling.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
* Proficiency in MS Office programs and statistical software.
* Experience in ERP systems.
