About the role:As the Trust Accountant, you will be responsible for managing trust accounts, reconciling financial transactions and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
You will work closely with the Director, finance teams to maintain accurate records and provide key financial reporting.
As the team leader you will mentor and train on any software or compliance.
Onboarding new staff to the finance and administration team.Duties: Manage trust accountants, ensuring all transactions comply with legislative requirements and accurate reporting Mentor the team and support where required Assist with the processing of tenant receipts, rental disbursements, and supplier payments Conduct daily and monthly bank reconciliations for trust accounts Prepare financial reports, including cash flow statements and end-of-month reconciliations Meet with Directors and stakeholders on financials Liaise with auditors, property managers, and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and accuracy Hire and onboard new members to the finance and administration team The skills and experience required for this role: Previous experience in trust accounting within the property sector Strong knowledge of trust accounting regulations and compliance requirements Proficiency in trust accounting software Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume transactions Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders A people person who enjoys training and mentoring a team Benefits: WFH provided Supportive team Excellent opportunity for career growth within a large team.
