About the Role
As a Principal Structural Designer, you have the opportunity to work on various high profile onshore/offshore projects. You can expect to be engaged in designing of various structures as well as managing the work-load distribution, training and trouble shoot of the design team. The projects range from new developments (Greenfield) to the modifications of existing live assets (Brownfield); ., design for new hydrogen developments and Prelude FLNG.
Summary:
1. Structural modeling, drafting of mainly steel structures, and preparing engineering drawings activities for high-profile projects.
2. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions that meet project objectives.
3. Utilise advanced engineering software and methodologies for our structural designs.
4. Lead, support, supervise the work of less experienced members.
5. Managing communication towards different stakeholders and escalating any potential bottlenecks.
6. Other responsibilities as required by project and management.
About you
7. Understand the type of work we do & would like to be in a permanent role.
8. Extensive experience in structural design, ideally from the Oil & Gas industry.
9. High level of interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbally.
10. Proficiency with: AVEVA PDMS and E3D, Navisworks and AutoCAD.
11. Preferred software experience: Tekla, S3D, MicroStation.
