Responsibilities include working closely with our existing Business Unit Managers (4) to ensure job accuracy and profitability, maintaining profit targets, and enhancing customer satisfaction. The role involves overseeing OH&S compliance, optimizing efficiency, assessing field workers' skills and identifying training needs. Key Responsibilities will include: Ensuring the promotion of the company's core values throughout the organisationEnsure staff complete work in accordance with Australian Standards, Australian Regulations, Australian Worksafe Authority, Local government requirements and company Integrated Management SystemWork in partnership with managers to review and implement work practices that facilitate improved quality, environmental, health and safety performanceKey Account report collection of data, preparation and issuing reports to clientsSeek out and promote cross selling of servicesManaging operationsBudgetsContract reporting A extensive list of responsibilities can be obtained from me Ideal Experience: Proven business leadership experience – operations management, service manager, hseq, business unit manager levelFrom within the building materials space – areas such as facilities management, building services, remedial, roofing, cladding, lifts / elevators, ewp, scaffolding, height safety, cranes, hoisting equipment, hvac or electrical services would be of interestTertiary Qualification (Engineering or Construction related would be preferable)Quality & Safety Management systems qualificationsA minimum of ten years' experience within a service/trade environment Strong commercial/business acumenChange agent, self-starter/motivated, with ability to influenceStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to compile and write high level reportsAbility to manage your own and others performanceStrong leadership skills and the ability to develop othersTrack record in building highly effective teams Strong Microsoft office competencies.
