About the role
Grampians Health Ballarat is a renowned Aged Care provider, boasting nine Aged Care Communities that have been delivering compassionate care for over 150 years. This includes Jack Lonsdale Lodge, James Thomas Court, Eureka Village Hostel, Geoffrey Cutter Centre, WB Messer, PS Hobson, Hailey House, Talbot Place and Bill Crawford Lodge.
If successful in this role you will be appointed to one of the above mentioned Residential Homes.
As an Enrolled Nurse at Grampians Health you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional care to our residents. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse you will plan, implement and evaluate nursing care and service delivery, adhering to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the Registered Nurse to provide resident-focused, holistic care.
• Implement nursing functions according to your level of competence and formal educational.
• Support the management team in the efficient and effective management of the designated Care Community.
• Develop your professional practice to meet the health needs of the population and changing patterns of disease and illness.
• Contribute to quality healthcare through continuous personal and professional development.
Qualifications and experience
• Eligible for registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and hold a current Practicing Certificate.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain.
• Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skills, commensurate with experience.
