About the role:Fleetwood is on an exciting growth journey, and we are now seeking an Assistant Accountant to join our Melbourne based team. Working out of our Dandenong office your responsibilities will include assisting with the provision of accounting services across the organisation. This position would suit someone on their journey to obtain their CPA. You will have the opportunity to work within a highly experienced, high performing team.Key responsibilities will include: Assist with the month end processes and reporting Overhead variance analysis & reporting Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations Assist the Management Accountants with the budget process Assist the Management Accountants with forecasting processes, including P&L and cash flow forecasting Maintenance of the job costing system including: Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register, including asset additions, disposals, and depreciation Assist with Tax requirements including GST and FBT Assist with audit procedures & other matters relating to maintenance of Fleetwood Limited Groups internal and external reporting requirements Daily banking & bank reconciliation The successful applicant will possess the following: Bachelor in Accounting / Finance or related field Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal with personnel at all levels of the business Strong attention to detail Sound statistical, analytical, and administrative skills Good computer skills, particularly with regards to MS Excel Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or other ERP- Desirable but not essential Experience with with job costing- Desirable but not essential Why work for Fleetwood?
