Product Manager, Payments Cards Modernisation – 12 month fixed-term Your business Business Banking (BB) manages relationships with Commonwealth Bank's small-medium enterprise customers, mid-market corporate customers, and regional and agribusiness customers, providing a wide range of financial services and solutions.It also services our personal and Institutional Banking customers.The Payments Product team is responsible for the product management and development of all CBA's account based payment solutions for business clients.The key objective of the team is to deliver transformative technology and innovative solutions with profitable growth, for customers across all segments of CommBank and covers three payment streams; Batch, Real Time and International Payments.Reporting to the Chapter Lead, Payments Product Management, you will be part of the domestic Batch Payments squad who is responsible for driving payment usage and conversion through channel engagement, frontline initiatives, process improvement, enhanced reporting as well as future opportunities to migrate BECS capability to help us meet customer needs.Do Work That Matters As a Product Manager (PM), you will support the strategy for Cards Modernisation within the Batch Payments systems, specifically the Bank Payments Hub (BPH) system.You will be responsible for seeking information from various sources to enable monitoring of product/system performance and assessing that performance against key regulatory and performance objectives.You will also be responsible for rolling-out strategic or risk buy-down change initiatives by engaging with all stakeholders, creating formal plans and documenting requirements & processes to ensure sound change management.The PM is also responsible for acting as an SME on changes rolled out by business partners.This is a 12 month secondment/fixed term opportunity.More specifically you will: Support and document the changes required from the Cards Modernisation Program within the Bank Payments Hub (BPH) system Collaborate with squads to define, prioritise and manage the backlog to achieve the squad's and program's vision, goals and roadmap Translate Cards Modernisation Program requirements into actionable tasks for squads, ensuring informed and strategic decisions Support squad members in program activities displaying agility and flexibility to take on various roles (Business Analyst / Product Manager / Data Analyst / Customer / Risk) Coordinate across Domains, Business Units and Support Units to ensure the Payments Domain aligns with Cards Modernisation Program priorities Partner with cross-Domain teams, including client maintenance, risk, compliance, finance, technology and distribution, to deliver a seamless product experience Monitor performance, KPIs and (internal / external) customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities, and prioritise tasks accordingly Manage and document program changes and continuously improve processes to enhance the customer experience Responsible for proactively managing risks associated to the program, including controls, governance and swift resolution of issues in relation to BPH Problem solve, investigate and recommend solutions to complex technical challenges Manage change to continuously improve the Cards Modernisation work within BPH, to facilitate the overall customer experience Ensure compliance with Group and Industry Policies, Standards and Regulatory obligations Monitor business results of recently introduced or enhanced features and recommend modifications in product features, pricing, and marketing approaches to improve results. Help us deliver a better future for Business Banking: Undergraduate and post-graduate degree in business, marketing, engineering, data decisioning or similar qualifications Payments and/or Cards Product Management experience is highly desirable Deep Domain knowledge in the cards value chain Experience on card migration projects is highly desirable Proven experience working across end-to-end Agile projects and technical delivery Business Analyst skills are preferable Influential and confident stakeholder management skills as this role will see you working across risk, product, digital, technology and compliance business partners Experience in working within a highly complex operational environment A proactive risk management mindset The ability and enthusiasm to act as a 'change leader' in supporting transformational change Strong commercial acumen and sound judgement to provide recommendations and insights Exceptional written and verbal communication including proven planning and time management skills to handle competing priorities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
