Part-time 12-month contract to guide a small Community NFP through the remainder of a merger process while managing ongoing business.
About the Role
You will lead a purposeful and passionate organisation. The CEO will continue the work of the incumbent leadership team in delivering exceptional service to clients, moving the merger process forward to its intended mid-year conclusion with support from the Board and team.
The CEO will be custodian of the organisation's purpose, vision, and values ensuring that the hard-won reputation is not diminished both through and beyond the merger process. This includes networking and advocating for the organisation through funding and sector engagement processes.
Key Features:
* Ensuring efficient and effective running of the business with oversight over all operational and financial matters.
* Responsible for leadership and direction of the team through provision of strategic direction and effective management.
* Effective and transparent reporting to the Board.
About You
We are looking for a leader with strong governance, planning, professional management skills, and excellent interpersonal skills. Ideal candidates have knowledge, skills, and experience gained through work experiences in community services or similar positions/industries. Merger process experience is advantageous but not a prerequisite. A flexible role fitting into semi-retirement, consulting, or parental responsibility situations is desirable.
