This position will see you partner with numerous stakeholders across the business through to senior level, and it will give you a broad remit where you will own the P&L and be involved in driving efficiencies. It is an excellent opportunity for someone to get exposure to how a large business operates and you'll find yourself constantly learning. You'll be working with an experienced Senior Finance Manager who will provide you with extensive support. They're also very clear in their expectations and in your first 3-months they expect you to build relationships, have people know who you, understand the reporting frameworks, and get across the accounting nuances of the business. You will get 2 days WFH and visit your clientele who are based inner south. What You'll Do: This is job that is packed with variety, and you will take on numerous duties, increasing as you become more confident and experienced in the business. Responsibilities include: Complete end of month reporting including journals and reconciliations, and then present results providing feedback on performance against budgets/forecasts. Manage the day-to-day financial reporting. Support the annual budgeting process. Business Partnering with multiple stakeholders. Compile and submit updated periodic forecast positions at month end with commentary for the contract. Analysis of monthly financials and presentation to senior stakeholders. Maintain and review the "whole of life" (Forecast Cost to Complete) modelling, reporting on variance from the Forecast Margin and maintaining associated registers. Provide business performance reporting and analysis utilising financial and non-financial systems to drive operational excellence and improve overall performance. Ensuring that contract invoicing is accurate, on time, and in line with specific agreements Working with, and maintaining, complex Financial Models. Who You Are: This position presents a brilliant chance for someone to develop their skills and grow in a successful business. You must be a fully qualified accountant (CPA/CA)with a good grounding in financial accounting. You must have outstanding Business Partnering skills; not just the ability to build relationships, but you will also have exceptional writing and presentation skills to produce reports that are viewed at the highest level. You will be able to influence stakeholders and provide constructive feedback. We would also like you to understand how a large business operates and the importance of AP in such an environment.
