About the Role
We're seeking a skilled Biomedical Technician who wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
As an integral part of our team at St Stephen's Hospital, you'll have the opportunity to grow, develop and feel empowered to make the everyday easier for our patients.
The Biomedical Technician (Biomedical Solutions Specialist) is responsible for providing expert domain knowledge, implementation approach and process design to the Clinical Informatics Team and Biomedical Areas across all UCH sites.
You will contribute to the overall support of biomedical systems across all UCH sites.
Requirements
* Qualifications in ICT Infrastructure, information technology and technical architecture in a clinical discipline
* Knowledge and ability with network management including:
o Installation and Configuration of peripheral devices and network components
o Fault Finding network communication issues
o Network security
* Highly developed technical infrastructure knowledge and understanding of the latest trends in network design, Data Centre design, Real Time Location Systems, Virtual Servers, Storage and wireless technologies
You will also have experience with Oracle Electronic Medical Record system, infrastructure design tools, infrastructure architecture design and integrated solutions.

Techincal certification(s) in systems and networks and experience with medical electronics and or medical equipment are required.
Possess or obtain a Restricted Electrical Work Licence.
