About the Role
Reporting to the Manager, Technical Applications Management, you will provide customer focused, high level specialist technical expertise in the maintenance and support of clinical systems including clinical imaging systems and the Metro North vendor neutral archiving platform, ensuring that Digital Metro North services meet the needs of Metro North Health (MNH). Additionally, this role receives technical direction from the Principal Technical Advisor, Clinical Systems.
Key knowledge and experience
The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:
* Demonstrated experience managing system incidents and upgrades efficiently, adhering to ITIL processes for service delivery.
* Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, is key to achieving successful outcomes.
* Familiarity with healthcare communication standards (HL7, DICOM, IHE) and experience with (PKI Certificates, Firewalls and Networking Protocols).
* Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to consult, negotiate, and provide advice on project matters, whilst maintaining effective relationships with senior staff and ensuring clear communication.
* Demonstrated strong attention to detail and timeline management for prioritising project milestones.
* Proven conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills to respond to clients and a proven ability to work in a team environment developing effective working relationships with team members and stakeholders.
