What you do:
This role is responsible for monitoring and controlling plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and production output. The Control Room Operator works closely with other operators, maintenance teams, and engineering personnel to manage the safe and efficient operation of the processing plant.
Your primary role will include, though not limited to, the following:
* Monitoring, controlling, and optimising plant equipment and control systems such as SCADA systems to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the mineral processing plant.
* Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for process optimisation, and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
* Supporting safety initiatives and maintaining compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
* Reviewing and interpreting plant performance data to identify trends, improve efficiency, and ensure optimal plant performance.
Must Haves?
* 2+ years experience as a Control Room Operator in a processing plant highly preferred.
* Ability to satisfactorily meet requirements of Pre-Employment Medical and Drug and Alcohol Screen.
Nice to Haves?
* 2+ years experience as a Control Room Operator in a processing plant.
* Previous experience working on a remote work location in a regional/rural area.
* Associate Degree in Electrical, Renewable or IT.
