Marketing Communications (Marketing & Communications) Full time Salary: $110,000 pa + Super + Access to Salary SacrificingWe are a thought leader in research and discovery.We investigate areas of significant clinical need identified by our multi-disciplinary leadership team.We engage with individuals, businesses, and academic institutions to grow our research and focus on translational research to deliver immediate and meaningful impact.Based at Greenslopes Private Hospital, we continue the Hospital's proud tradition of supporting current and former service personnel through focused research that enhances mental and physical health and wellbeing.Driving our strategic direction are our core values of compassion, innovation, and integrity.We are committed to identifying and delivering insights and therapeutic pathways that can change lives, improve treatments, and cure disease within the general population.As we embark on delivering key organisational initiatives, we are expanding our Marketing and Communications team!About the Role We are seeking an expert Community and Engagement Manager to join our Marketing and Communications team.Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, you will lead community engagement activities (events, fundraising, and campaigns) with targets to grow audiences and contributions.You will develop new initiatives (events, campaigns, and other opportunities) to build and sustain relationships with key stakeholders.About the Person A tertiary degree (Bachelor level) in communications, marketing, fundraising, or equivalent industry experience.Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position, with a focus on strategic community engagement.Demonstrated experience in strategic community engagement planning, including a proven track record in designing and implementing comprehensive community engagement strategies (including fundraising/sponsorship) that align with organisational goals.Strong digital engagement competencies including the use of digital channels, such as social media, email marketing, CRMs, and online giving platforms, to reach and engage current and potential supporters.Ability to create memorable experiences that build and sustain stakeholder engagement and inspire support through delivery of high-quality events.Proven experience leading and managing a small team to achieve team objectives.Proven track record in consistently achieving fundraising and sponsorship revenue targets with sound financial acumen.Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining stakeholder engagement, including a strong understanding of fundraising and sponsorship journeys.Strong, demonstrable experience in content delivery, including writing, editing, and proofreading for a broad range of communication and audiences.Proven ability to build strong and cooperative relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external) and work collaboratively across teams to deliver results.Outstanding communication skills—written, verbal, and active listening.Self-starter, high level of initiative, proven proactive thinker.Previous experience in a not-for-profit, research, or health-related organisation (desirable).How to Apply Applicants are requested to apply online through SEEK, with a cover letter outlining their interest in the role, skills, capabilities, and experience.Only short-listed applicants will be contacted.Applications close at 4pm, on Monday 18th November 2024.
