About the Role The Test Analyst is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and usability of software managed and developed by the Information Technology Unit at the University. By conducting expert analysis, planning, and execution of Test designs, cases, and procedures, they enhance software reliability and facilitate rigorous quality assurance practices. They will be required to work collaboratively in an agile environment, authoring, maintaining, and executing tests to ensure improved software quality and drive the successful delivery of software. About You As the Test Analyst, you will have: Relevant tertiary qualification and relevant experience; Or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any other combination of education, training, and/or experience. Proven experience in Test Analyst roles, demonstrating effective test case execution and understanding of functional requirements. Active participation in requirements reviews and contribution to comprehensive test strategies. Proficiency in tools like Confluence, and JIRA for test case development and execution. Strong problem-solving skills for analysing intricate requirements and devising effective test cases. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, building relationships and presenting solutions. Utilisation of SAFe Agile methodologies to enhance test processes. Collaborative team player with the ability to work both independently and within team-oriented environments. Thorough understanding of software development life cycles and agile methodology. Efficient time management, organisational skills, and relevant qualifications or equivalent knowledge. Essential: 3+ years software testing experience 3+ years hands on Salesforce experience 3+ years Agile experience (this Team operates 100% SAFe Agile) 3+ years Integration Testing experience 2+ years User Acceptance Testing experience Atlassian JIRA experience (above years of experience are not cumulative) Preferred: Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Consultant ISTQB Foundation level certified Data Migration Testing experience Atlassian Confluence experience Higher Education experience Remuneration & Benefits Base Salary Range: $105,814 to $117,057 pa (HEW 7) This role attracts 17% superannuation in addition to the base salary.
