We're on the lookout across a variety of levels including Senior Analysts, Managers, Senior Managers and Account Directors to join Deloitte's growing M&A Tax team in Melbourne or Sydney.
What will your typical day look like?
This is a unique opportunity in our M&A Tax team that specialises in delivering specialist taxation advice for a variety of key M&A transactions across a range of sectors including private equity, corporate, IPOs, infrastructure and renewables.
Your role will include: Working with the M&A Tax team and other parts of the broader firm (including Specialist Taxes, Financial Advisory and Accounting Advisory) on a range of M&A transactions.
Identifying key value drivers to help our clients achieve their commercial objectives A meaningful contribution to the ongoing growth of the M&A Tax team and supporting the with the strategic direction of the firm's M&A Tax offering.
Helping to build and manage trusted client relationships through exceptional client service.
Helping to drive business development opportunities.
Overseeing and mentoring upcoming talent in our team through structured coaching and on the job training.
About the team We know that Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) are a huge deal for investors and businesses, and we are focused on teaming with clients throughout their investment life cycle.
Through close collaboration, we provide sophisticated and tailored M&A tax advice on a wide range of cross-border and domestic investments and transactions.
Our M&A Tax team is high energy, commercially focused and has a strong pipeline.

Enough about us, let's talk about you.
You are someone with: 2+ years' (senior analyst and manager); 5+ years' (senior manager and account director) international tax and/or M&A tax advisory experience within another professional services environment or in-house in a sophisticated institution.
Comfortable with concurrently managing various projects with a strong ability to deliver on complex engagements Degree qualified.
Postgraduate academic qualifications (such as further study with the Tax Institute or Masters of Tax) will be highly regarded.
A collaborative and team-based approach to working.
Strong people management skills as a coach and mentor A commercially astute approach to business development and excellent client relationship skills.
