As part of an expansion phase in Australia, a newly created opportunity has been created for an experienced Sales Engineer to join the team, based in Western Australia.Your new roleReporting to the Sales Director, the main purpose of the role is to increase market penetration and secure specification of the company products. Key responsibilities include:Prepare and deliver technical presentations to potential customers, explaining how their products and services work.Collaborate with customers and engineers to ensure they meet customer requirements.Work closely with other members of the sales team to better understand customer demands and provide sales and technical support where needed.Secure orders, maintain product standards, and ensure timely product delivery in collaboration with channel partners.Establish rapport with clients, addressing their needs and solving product usage problems.Recommend new and improved products, emphasizing cost-effectiveness.What you'll need to succeedPossess a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Civil Construction, or Geotechnical, with a minimum of three years of relevant experience.Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, effectively bridging the gap between solution-focused selling and conveying technical information in an easily understandable manner.Exhibit strong commercial awareness within the construction sector.Preferably have experience in distribution, consultative selling/presentations, and/or business development within the construction industry.Proficient in IT, with practical experience in Microsoft Office, CRM, and other data management systems, or demonstrate an understanding of the benefits and successful utilization of such systems.What you'll get in returnThis is an opportunity to join a world-leading company, specifying cutting-edge solutions to address the world's most pressing infrastructure challenges.
