**Scope and Objectives**
The Fire Technician & BMS Operator works under the supervision of the Fire and Safety Officer to perform maintenance tasks, including preventive and corrective maintenance, overseeing the fire command center, and BMS station.
**Essential Functions (70%)**
Perform maintenance and monitoring tasks, including:
* Preventive and corrective maintenance
* Monitoring the fire command center and BMS work station
* Responding to alarms in coordination with the team
**Record Keeping (10%)**
Record all parameters of various systems through the BMS system and report necessary variations to the supervisor for corrective action.
**Log Maintenance (10%)**
Maintain logs for all events occurring with the fire system and BMS system.
**Supportive Functions (10%)**
Snagging and de-snagging, fire drills arrangement, transition management, and other duties assigned by the supervisor.
**Physical Requirements**
The role requires experience in using basic hand and power tools and the ability to:
* Scoop, kneel, grasp, lift, push, and pull weights up to 80 lbs.
* Climb ladders up to 40 feet high
* Reach in all directions, often overhead
