Distribution Sales Director ANZ

CSG Talent has an opportunity for an experienced salesperson, with a background in chemical distribution or industrial minerals, to focus on distribution principal management across ANZ.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and lead the distribution sales strategy, to significantly grow sales and achieve the long-term goals.
2. Execute sales plans including account recommendations, product sales volumes, pricing, visit planning, account potential analysis, and budgeting
3. Identify and assess new principals to close portfolio gaps with regional distribution services.
4. Regularly visit customers and potential customers with the sales team to develop strong relationships.
5. Provide product training and selling strategies for key portfolio products to the sales team.
6. Manage all customer interactions for the distribution business.
The Ideal Candidate:
7. Minimum 10 years sales experience in specialty chemical distribution. A good understanding of chemical compounds and/or food ingredients is highly regarded.
8. Demonstrable track record of leading a sales team and generating growth is well received.
9. Thorough understanding of the chemical distribution market in ANZ.
10. Proven in identifying and progressing new business opportunities. Ability to drive business and negotiate.
11. Excellent level of planning, development and implementation of sales and marketing plans.
12. Degree in science, chemistry or food technology is preferred.
13. Willingness to travel across ANZ as/when required.
