The framework assists nurses in all settings, to understand and integrate key elements of nursing practice required to deliver safe, high-quality care for patients. The Nursing Services governance and committee structure has been established to reflect the Nursing Professional Practice Framework.The Position SummaryThe Falls CNC provides leadership for falls prevention and management interventions and initiatives. The role of the Falls CNC is to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, and patients and their families/carers to support falls prevention. They will translate falls prevention research and guidelines into practice at Alfred Health, and review findings from case reviews to establish barriers to the implementation of evidence-based falls prevention at Alfred Health. The CNC facilitates changes to practice to ensure falls risks are identified and incorporated into care plans, and develop falls prevention education in collaboration with consumers to support professional development programs for nursing, medical and allied health staff.
