The role will commence as a part time position, working 3 days a week (Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm) and could develop it into a full-time role.
The Role
We are looking for a new team member due to growth, this Youth Support Worker position will be based in our Ulladulla office.
You won’t be desk bound in this role. You need to love networking as you will initially focus on building relationships with local schools, career advisors and other community organisations. Then your focus will turn to servicing your clients.
1. Building great relationships with participants to better support them
2. Building relationships with community organisations to attract new participant referrals
3. Assessing the needs and ambitions of the participants
4. Identifying barriers to employment and providing solutions focussed approaches
5. Provide support young people to achieve ongoing education and/or employment.
Opportunity & Your Career
We will take you through a 13-week induction program, giving you all the knowledge, you need. Covering everything from government administration compliance, how to best have effective conversations, how to help someone compile their CV, communicating and presenting at an interview and navigating our systems and CRM’s.

6. Eligibility to work in Australia
7. A current driver’s licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
8. Willing to complete a Criminal History Check and able to pass a Working with Children Check
9. Ideally you will hold a Cert IV Youth Work, Cert IV Employment Services or Cert IV Community Services or higher or equivalent (if you don’t hold formal qualifications, you must be happy to obtain).
