About the role In your new role you will plan, lead, organise and direct staff in order to provide maintenance and engineering services to optimise equipment reliability to meet Non-processing asset requirements in compliance with relevant maintenance strategies & statutory responsibilities. Your duties although not limited to will include the following: Effectively support and provide strong leadership for the development of tradespersons Provide timely and effective management services comprising of:Daily Maintenance workflow supervision for area of responsibility Timely follow-up (Short Interval Control) in line with the management operating system requirements. Identify variances against plan and implement corrective actions to rectify variances Allocate appropriate individuals to complete identified corrective actions Review corrective actions to ensure timely completion Effective Work Order Management with recording of historical data Ensure equipment reliability is being delivered at KPI effectiveness Driving the continuous improvement and process control through the Maintenance business Work with the Planning Co-ordinator and planning department to develop a short and long term plans / weekly plan and shutdowns Develop and maintain a professional presence and relationships with internal and external stakeholders Assist with budgets and associated activities as directed by senior Management Provide timely and accurate reporting to adhere to set deadlines Collaborate to identify and implement improvements for all areas to decrease costs to the business ongoing Assist the processing maintenance execution team from time to time with major tasks and shutdown maintenance Provide assistance in the management of the team and individual's performances Support team members with flexibility whilst instilling a climate and efficiency in all activities Reports writing as required Ensure any Action Items arising from variances are dealt with by the Supervisor or escalated to the appropriate level for completion. Actively participate in team building with the team and other supervisors, other teams and their representatives A high level of safety focus at all times About you You will have people supervision skills and the ability to support, develop and assist your team to ensure the success of your area and maintenance in various departments within the mine site. You take pride in your ability to produce results and form strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the business. You will require the following qualifications, skills and experience: Trade Certificate in either Mechanical or Electrical disciplines A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar supervisory role or the ability to demonstrate supervisory capabilities in mining or heavy industry maintenance with 6 years post trade employment Previous maintenance supervisory experience in a variety of areas in mining (desired) Flexibility and the ability work in a team environment whilst motivating and encouraging others Customer focus attitude and an approachable attitude Innovation and ability to use initiative for improvement and implementation Effective leadership skills and the ability to embrace change when required Manage by facts/results and provide information to team members Be consistent in your supervisory approach An exceptional safety record and focus at all times At Evolution, as our name suggests, change and transformation is in our DNA.
