Knox Private Hospital is seeking an Enrolled Nurse with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering high quality patient care to join our Perioperative department. This is a full time position.

Work is well underway on a major expansion of Knox Private Hospital that will help us continue to meet the growing demand for quality health care across Melbourne’s east.
The new multi-million-dollar expansion will help Knox Private deliver an expanded and enhanced service offering for our patients, and will further cement our reputation as a world-class healthcare facility.
2023/2024 Expansion Project includes:
Three story North Tower with two wards (60 beds), upgrade and increase in ICU and CCU beds, upgrade to Knox Heart Centre (our non-invasive diagnostic cardiology), 16 chair renal dialysis unit and Specialist Consulting Suites.
About the role
This opportunity will see you assisting our clinical teams within the perioperative suite;
·Completion of surgical/instrument set ups for theatre lists
·Cleaning and inventory duties
·Liasing with theatre team to keep across add on or modification cases
·Ensure consumable stock is rotated and date checked
·Putting away sterilised stick
Essential criteria
·Prior experience with working in an operating theatre (desired)
·Ability to work part of a team
·Commitment to Quality Patient Care
·Demonstrated time management & organisational skills with the ability to meet objectives/timelines
·Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
·Ability to work Monday – Friday 09:30am – 5:30pm
·AHPRA registered
