Project Engineer - Electrical - SA - Adelaide and Regional South Australia About Us: Established in 2001, Guidera O'Connor (GO) is a privately owned and respected design and construct contractor and have a successful track record delivering water and wastewater treatment projects to the Australian Water Industry. Our clients include SA Water, Water Corporation, Sydney Water and SEQ Water. Due to growth, we are seeking expressions of interest from Electrical Project Engineers who seek meaningful work in the water and wastewater industry. As the Project Engineer - Electrical, you will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager to deliver the project in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with contract documentation with a focus on the electrical components of the project. The role includes a combination of electrical design work, procurement, site management, testing and commissioning, and completion of documentation. More specifically you will: Assist the Project Manager to deliver projects in a safe and environmentally sound manner Ensure that the project is constructed in accordance with contract and legislative requirements Carry out electrical design activities for the project as required Complete all project related electrical activities in a timely manner Procure electrical equipment at competitive prices to meet project requirements Assist the Project Manager in the preparation of all project documentation Develop and maintain close working relationships with all stakeholders Maintain and manage Quality Assurance requirements throughout the project To be successful in this role you will have: Experience as a Project Engineer specifically in the water and wastewater industry A relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering Strong knowledge of the construction industry coupled with highly developed engineering skills An ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines An ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with all relevant stakeholders An affinity for our Guiding Principles of Care, Integrity, Passion, Respect and Future In return for your skills and experience, we offer you supportive colleagues and inspiring leadership; training & development opportunities; meaningful and interesting work; amazing employee benefits as laid out below, all within a great culture and work environment.
