Civeo Australia seeks experienced Head Chefs (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or trade certificate) to work closely with Village & Catering Managers, delivering exceptional food across WA Villages.
The primary focus is on ensuring a smooth and profitable kitchen operation for the village.
This is a fly-in-fly-out role (FIFO), departing Perth on 8:6 rosters.

Experience:
* 5+ years' cumulative chef experience, preferably working in a large hotel or remote village environment (FIFO or DIDO) with at least 3+ years supervising and managing a team of chefs
* Experience with ordering, storing, preparing and delivering food service
* Strong experience in a bulk/batch cooking environment. Ordering, profit and wastage reporting
* Client relationship management and support
Skills and Knowledge:
* Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery or Trade certificate
* Applied knowledge of HACCP principles in a bulk cooking environment
* Ability to create service schedules on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
* Affinity with workplace safety systems and compliance requirements
* Intermediate skills with regards to Microsoft Office applications
* Budgetary and analytical skills
* Knowledge of relevant kitchen chemicals, including their application and storage
You must have a valid driver's licence (Class C).
